National Parks Poster
This poster is created in honor of one of my favorite national parks. The goal was to use inspiration and design elements from previous national park posters to create one of our own.
AM Cassandre Poster
As an exercise in class, we created posters in the style of AM Cassandre. I tried to capture the same simplicity and texture in my poster that Cassandre did.
Graphic Design Is...
We were asked to define what graphic design was to us, using the prompt “Graphic Design is…” and afterward turn it into a poster. I chose to use the visual imagery of paint chips and a nuance of design to create a partial definition.
Political Posters
The project given to students was to create two posters with the same feel for either two past presidents or two iconic figures. Posters couldn’t show a clear preference towards either candidate.
Inspiration
I’m personally very drawn to the vintage campaign posters, so I took a lot of my inspiration from those. I especially liked the idea of a black and white image with patriotic colors in the background.
