I started work at Gear for Sports in 2019. As a graphic artist, I created high-quality, custom print and embroidery graphics for various collegiate and NHL sports teams. I was responsible for following brand and licensing guidelines while creating attractive graphics to satisfy both the schools and the buyer. On occasion, I put together boards showcasing the line of garments and designs as a whole.
As I was promoted, I had the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities as a new employee trainer, a point person within my department, and acted as an auditor for new members within my team. I was also given the responsibility of communicating with factories in order to solve issues with printing in real time.
Collegiate Sports Apparel
At Gear for Sports, I was often tasked with special projects, such as creating a pitch board of Ohio State and Michigan apparel for Meijer.
The Meijer line was picked up with an additional 20+ schools and some of the Ohio State designs were also featured in a line put out by Walmart the next fall.
